Yep, believing in Jesus does not make you a slave. In fact, it offers you freedom. As you live your life where you have freely been given forgiveness, you now have choices to make. The difference is this time, you have the Holy Spirit of God living within you to help make these choices.You know that nagging feeling you get when you are trying to decide what to do..you think it's there by chance? Nope! Listen to that voice or feeling..it's the Holy Spirit.
No matter how much you have been wronged in life by others, once you accept Christ, you have been forgiven freely. And so, you can't hide behind past hurts anymore! Because you now always have a Father - a heavenly Dad to always be with you. And this Dad, no matter what, will NEVER fail you! It truly is that simple!
