When we face crisis in our lives we often turn to prayer. Sadly, prayer is often used as a last act when all efforts have been exhausted and failed. Even though scripture encourages us to call upon God first, our human tendency is to try and solve it first rather than consider God's invitation for us to pray.And likewise, when things are going well, we tend to forget about God and not give praise and thanksgiving to the one who really is in control of our lives. He promises assistance to those who call on His name - so why don't we say "Thank YOU" to the living God?
Regardless of the problems in our lives, we must lay them at the cross and trust He will transform it into a blessing. And then me must not forget to use our manners and say "Thank You"!
