The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. Psalm 103:8, 11-12We pray often for family and loved ones, and those who are sick and coworkers, and the homeless, etc. But do we stop to pray just about God?
King David in the Psalms praises God. He praises His love, and character and his slowness in anger and lots more. He thanked God and was grateful. When was the last time we did that? I am very guilty of starting my prayers with a small sentence of praise but then jump right into my needs.
Let's follow David's example today and express gratitude to God without asking for a single thing!
