Jesus Christ was deeply practical. If you study His life you will note that, along with the profound spirituality of His ministry, He had a truly practical nature. When Jesus raised Jairus's daughter from the dead, He told her parents to give her something to eat.

-- What does practical look like in your life? What about mine? Do we just pray for those who are in need or do we give what we have? Do we just send money to shelters and hope that someone else will prepare a meal, or do we dig in and serve? I don't know what practical love looks like in your life .. only you can seek Jesus to answer that. But based on the model of Jesus, I know practical means doing. Find one practical thing today to do for someone else...challenge yourself.
